The Opportunity;

We're recruiting for a Recruitment Partner to join our established HR team at our head office in Swanson, Auckland.

You will be responsible for overseeing our recruitment function at a national level, we recruit a variety of roles, from Cleaners, to Drivers, to Accountants and Operations Managers, utilising our established ATS- TeamTailor. You will also be first point of contact in the business for immigration matters, as we are a high-volume accredited employer. 

You will ensure that every vacancy is dealt with following a best practice recruitment method, whilst having the entire business, hiring managers and all applicants’ best interests in mind.

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

About You;

You’re a capable recruiter, apt with juggling multiple priorities whilst keeping Hiring Manager's and applicants informed. You've had experience with high volume recruitment, ideally in the blue collar space. 

You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills.

You’re a great team player and can communicate with a variety of people and groups in a manner that is concise and easy to understand. You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for it’s importance.

You keep up to date with employment trends and can educate and train on best practice recruitment strategies. 

Your Skills;

• Proven experience with high volume, in-house recruitment

• Tech savvy and experienced using an ATS, ideally TeamTailor

• Excellent ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Ideally a tertiary qualification in HR or similar

• Strong communicator

• Interest in public transport

• Health and safety savvy
